  • Model-specific bracket made of black-coated stainless steel: this version fits all XT500s (steel tank up to 1979 and aluminium tank from 1980) with the long German seat
  • The seat can be (dis)assembled as usual even when the luggage rack is mounted
  • Optionally, the small 1.5L SW-Motech bag (item no. 60730) can be mounted on the left side with the additional holder (item no. 60086); the original toolbox is not affected
  • The SLC side bag holder (item no. 60098EVO) can be combined with the luggage rack

  
  How can I tell the difference between the short seat and the long German seat? On the long seat (see item 27801), there is approx. 20 mm of space between the outer edge of the seat and the inner edge of the frame arch on models up to 1979, and approx. 5 mm on models from 1980 onwards. The short seat has approx. 60 mm of space on models up to 1979 and approx. 45 mm on models from 1980 onwards. For the foam cores and seat covers of the XT (see, for example, item 21010), a comparison image is also provided with the product photos.
