How can I tell the difference between the short seat and the long German seat? On the long seat (see item 27801), there is approx. 20 mm of space between the outer edge of the seat and the inner edge of the frame arch on models up to 1979, and approx. 5 mm on models from 1980 onwards. The short seat has approx. 60 mm of space on models up to 1979 and approx. 45 mm on models from 1980 onwards.
