Going fast has never been so easy, say goodbye to hard starting, hesitations and flatspots.  This Mikuni TM40-6 carburetor is suited for high performance Yamaha 500cc SR, TT and XT models. This Mikuni TM40-6 Pumper carburetor fits as a direct replacement to the Yamaha SR, Yamaha TT and Yamaha XT inlet snorkel. There is a hose tail on the carb for connection to vacuum operated fuel taps.

The jets and pump nozzel required to make this carb operate on Yamaha 500cc single. Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning as does cam, exhaust and cylinder head porting etc..

• Equipment TM40-6: Carburetor with accelerator pump, gas slider with compulsive actuation (opening and closing), cold-start device (choke) and low pressure port (e.g.for low pressure fuel petcocks, where applicable)
• Fits SR500 and XT500 without modifications to the air filter box; in SRX600 airbox joints must be extended (supplied with Kit 33147)
• Mounting of K&N racing air filters possible (air filter box not applicable)
