The »XSTART« contains a 1kW starter with alternator cover, adapter for the original pole wheel, freewheel, drive chain and starter relay, all the necessary accessories and detailed, illustrated instructions for quick and easy assembly. The lithium battery (LiFePo4) is located in a housing based on the original tool box and is mounted in the position of the original tool box.

Depending on the temperature, the battery can complete up to 100 starts with one charge. Then it must be charged with the enclosed 230V charger. The battery is not connected to the vehicle electrics.

The starting current of the starter is 300A, with a peak current of 600A the 4S lithium battery has sufficient reserves. The temperature range from -20°C to +60°C is absolutely practical. The battery can be charged either in the vehicle or at home, dismantling is done without tools. The manufacturer recommends charging the battery after each trip as standard.

Of course, we include a new alternator cover seal with every kit. To mount the flywheel adapter, we recommend our counter-holder item 20114. The flywheel does not have to be dismantled.
