TT/XT500 PME Electronic Ignition & 12V Conversion Kit symbol KEDO edition of the ingenious PME CDI ignition system - enables easy conversion to an absolutely maintenance-free, contactless CDI ignition; easy construction! Improved version with adjustable basic ignition timing, so that the magnet wheel does not have to be removed several times to adjust the stator plate Available in three different versions:
1) CDI ignition with 12V lighting system: Supplied complete with ignition coil and powerful 90W luminous flux coil, CDI unit, ignition coil and rectifier/regulator. Attention: You may also need all 12V bulbs, 12V horn, 12V indicator relay, 12V battery, etc.; Kits see page 446)
2) CDI ignition without lighting system: Delivery includes ignition current coil, CDI unit and ignition coil.
3) CDI ignition without lighting system in a performance version: Delivery includes double ignition current coil for optimal ignition energy and performance over the entire speed range, CDI unit and ignition coil. The ignition curve is also designed for the use of high-compression pistons. PME CDI ignition Variant 2 (Art. 50595) and Variant 3 (Art. 50556) are suitable for racing and off-road use without a pre-equipped lighting current coil. They can be additionally equipped with a luminous flux coil for road operation as follows: a) with your own existing original lighting coil (6 or 12 volts) b) with the XT500 power luminous flux coil Art. 41078 (12V/90W) c) with the DC-Only conversion item 50767 for LED headlights
For all TT500 and XT500-'85, the original pole wheel is used
